New Ag Building is going up!
A huge thank you to the Washington County School Board and to Kubota Hometown Proud Grant. Our new Ag Building is in progress. We are excited that this milestone is taking place.
Kubota Hometown Proud Grant Recipient
We were 1 of 10 national finalists to be awarded $25,000 in cash and $25,000 in Kubota equipment. Local Kubota dealer, Circle C Tractor in Waynesboro, MS is our partner. The tractor will be used by the Ag students in hands-on learning activities. The money will be used to purchase supplies once the building is rebuilt in January 2026. Rebuilding this facility returns crucial educational opportunities surrounding the evolving agricultural industry to our local community.
Our Community Is Getting Closer to the Finish Line
We are incredibly grateful to the foundations and organizations that have invested in Light Up Fruitdale.
Through the generosity of ALA-TOM RC&D Council, The Daniel Foundation of Alabama, and the J.L. Bedsole Foundation, we have been awarded $61,258.33 in grant funding toward the project.
These grants represent more than financial support—they represent a belief in Fruitdale students, our athletes, and our community.
But our work isn't finished.
Because one of our grants is a reimbursement grant, we must pay project expenses upfront before receiving those funds. We are continuing to raise the money needed to fund the project and make sure we can meet those upfront costs.
Every donation brings us one step closer to seeing the lights come on at Fruitdale. ⚾💡
Thank you for helping us LIGHT UP FRUITDALE!
