Beyond the ordinary
This is where our journey began. Ms. Anita Rockwell Carter founded the FHS Alumni Organization 16 years ago. What first started out as a place to reconnect and the creation and awarding of annual scholarships has grown into something larger. We, the alumni are making differences each year for hundreds of young pirates. We remain committed to remembering our educational foundation, Fruitdale High School and keeping our mission alive and well for future generations. Join us as we grow and succeed together. Scholarship Winners
One of the most essential and rewarding functions of our Alumni Organization is awarding our annual scholarship to current graduating seniors. Your contribution will enable a graduating senior to purse their dream of going to college or trade school. All donations large or small are most appreciated. The amount of scholarship donations we get each year, determines how much the current recipient will receive. We can only do this with your help. Congratulations to this year's FHS Alumni Scholarship winner, Alicia Nelson. We would like to extend our congratulations to Alicia on her accomplishments, and we wish her all the best as she continues her studies this fall in pursuit of a Nursing degree at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
