Fruitdale High School Alumni Mission Statement 

The Fruitdale High School Alumni Organization is committed to fostering a strong and supportive community that bridges the gap between past, present, and future students. Our mission is to enrich the educational experience for all K-12 students by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities that address their diverse needs. We strive to create a lasting impact through our programs, collaborations, and fundraising efforts, ensuring that every student has the tools and support necessary to thrive.

In addition, we proudly fund an annual scholarship for a deserving senior, recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and the potential to make a positive impact in their community. Through our collective efforts, we aim to strengthen the legacy of Fruitdale High School and empower students to reach their fullest potential.

We could not do what we do without the support of our fellow alumni, community partners, and for grants from local foundations.   Thank you to the J.L. Bedsole Foundation of Mobile,  AL,  the Henson Kirkland Charity Foundation of Chatom, AL and the Porch Creek Indians of Atmore, AL.    Most importantly, thank you to all the faculty, staff, parents, students and the community for helping us continue the legacy of Fruitdale High School for generations to come.

What types of events do you host?
  • We host an annual homecoming reception before the Football Homecoming game each year. 
  • Various fundraising events to bridge the gaps where school funding stops and we start
  • Annual School Clean-up workday the Saturday before the start of each new school year
  • Award a $500 scholarship each year to a deserving senior

How can I make a donation to FHS Alumni Organization that is tax deductible?

PayPal.Me   You can make a tax deductible donation by clicking on the PayPal link.  You will receive a tax letter during the month of December each year.
